Beauty Amidst Chaos
Admittedly there is a lot of chaos happening in the pages of Revelation. While there is merit to learning about the significance of the scary beasts and end-time tribulation in the prophecies of Revelation, there is also much beauty in God’s promises and loving guidance. Show your kids the beauty in Revelation by having them memorize the following verses. These are abbreviated for the little ones. The older ones can learn the full verse.
Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. – Revelation 22:14
Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water. -Revelation 14:7
They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:
“Great and marvelous are Your works,
Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways,
O King of the saints!-Revelation 15:3
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. – Revelation 3:20
And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. – Revelation 22:17
Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place. – Revelation 22:6
“You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”-Revelation 4:11
